RSS footer plugin options
The RSS Footer plugin makes sure there is a reference to your site anytime your RSS feed is grabbed to include your content on another site. From the settings tab you can change the RSS Footer options. You could even put more than just “Post from:” including HTML code if you want to get creative.
I just want all the scrapper sites to have the link back and the post title especially since the author almost always is “unknown”. That guy sure writes a lot of post and most of them are just like mine.

I just installed it. Thanks for the link. I saw a blog that had it installed and had wanted to get it for my sites.

You are welcome. It really seems to fit the bill for me. Funny, since installing it, for some reason my pingbacks and trackbacks have almost come to a halt from scrappers.

I am going to installed this, anything to help stop the scraper sites is alright by me. Thanks for the info Dave.

I am a little lost on what this plugin does. Can someone explain it to me and also why it would reduce scrappers? I have a couple of blogs that the scrappers seem to love.

This means if they grab your content they also grab a link back to the original post.
